Central High School serves students in grades 7-12 across Coosa County.  With a strong emphasis on academics, students have the opportunity to participate in on-campus courses, Career Tech Courses through CCCTC, and dual enrollment courses through Central Alabama Community College.  

Athletics are an important part of student life at Central High School.  CHS offers students the opportunity to participate in football, basketball, volleyball, baseball and softball.  Dedicated coaches work with students to help them develop both athletically and academically. 

The Central High School Band is directed by Mr. Darryl Ingram.  The Pride of Coosa County presents the half-time show at the CHS varsity football games.  The band also hosts concerts throughout the year and competes in competitions across the state. 

The Coosa County community is vital to the success of our school system.  Community members and businesses partner with Central High School to help foster success and achievement.
